What is Human Design?   And how does it help me become more aligned with my business?

If you own an online business, then you know getting leads and making sales is different online than offline.

The reason is,

you’re not in front of the person or people. And without physical presence, you lose many ways to communicate, like:

• Reading body language

• Reading facial expressions

• Feeling the person’s energy

In online business, it’s mostly one-way until your audience decides to invest in you, which is the hardest part of online business!
Until then, it’s your words and how you show up on video that matter.

Which is where your Human Design comes in because  marketing and sales are a transfer of your energy. 

Think back. Have you ever been on a sales call where someone was anxious about losing the sale or too pushy because they only cared about the sale?
How did that feel?

Or if you came from a place where you were anxious about losing the sale or afraid to challenge their objections?

How often do you close those calls?

Energy is something you feel from the words you read to the tone and pitch of the voice.

Like when you first meet someone, you see them, they smile, and as you get closer...

...immediately, you can feel if that person is good, fake, or not for you to continue a relationship.

OR...

Like when you walk into a room where two people don’t like each other...

...you can feel that “tension,” like where the expression “you can cut the tension in the air with a knife” comes from.

OR...

What about at a concert with your favorite band or singer, when they’re about to hit the stage...

...you can feel the energy change in the stadium and not even see them yet.

So just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

Just like gravity or WiFi, you can’t see it but it’s there and it works.

That’s what Human Design provides you. 

It gives you the blueprint for how you best operate energetically, so when you’re running your business, you operate at higher expressions because there’s less resistance. 

This strengthens your presence and makes you more magnetic.

What is Human Design?

Human Design is built on a body of knowledge and principles that combines:

• I-Ching

• Chakra Systems

• Kabbalah

• Astrology

• Quantum physics

It integrates all these into a system that explains how a person works energetically based on their birth date and time.

The reason it’s based on your birth date, time, and location is due to the energy produced by the sun called the “Neutrino Stream.”  which scientists have devices worldwide to detect these Neutrinos.

About 100 trillion neutrinos pass through our bodies every second. As planets in our solar system move between the Sun and Earth, the neutrinos pass through these planets, transferring a piece of their energy to us.

This is why the date, time, and location of your birth are important.

Because, there was an alignment of the planets when you were born, meaning you received the energies of certain planets at that time.

This leaves you with a blueprint of how you work best energetically.

How Human Design Helps You in Your Business

If doing more in your business—like posting content twice a day, seven days a week, doing webinars and challenges twice a month, creating more giveaways, more low-cost items, spending more money on ads, etc.—led to success, then we would see a higher success rate online. But we know that’s not true. 

The evidence is clear if you scratch beneath the surface.

Doing more does not equal more results. It leads to more pressure and burnout cycles.

Human Design can affirm how you work best, your gifts, your talents, how you make decisions, your life path, etc.

Everyone has a unique chart through the different layers of Human Design, from the big picture of your energy type down to the details, which are your gates.

For business, I suggest focusing on the big picture and the layers that let your energy flow best. 

At the end of the day, marketing and sales are a transfer of your energy. So, why not do what you need to do in a higher state of emotions to get more results with less effort?

However, most of us live outside our design due to conditioning on how we should think and approach business. We focus on our weaknesses to feel validated and avoid feeling stupid.

This explains why most business owners feel so much resistance. 

They have been conditioned or trained to work like someone else instead of how they work best.

If you want more pull and flow and less push and force against resistance, you need to understand how you work best instead of working against yourself.

Knowing how we’re designed to work lets us start leaning into how we work so we can embody it.

Once we embody our unique innate energy, talents, and gifts, we start owning ourselves more. We lead ourselves more, which leads to more conviction, certainty, and clarity in what we produce.

This allows you to:

• Become more magnetic to others.

• Solve problems with ease.

• Come up with ideas with ease.

• Get more deep work done

• Drastically reduce procrastination.

• Have more natural sales conversations.

• Feel more aligned in our decisions.

• Have a compass on whether we’re going in the right or wrong direction.

• Know how to manage ourselves to be in higher state emotions.

All of this helps you be more in pull and flow because there’s less resistance since you’re working the way you’re meant to work!

What Human Design is…

Human Design is a blueprint that guides you to understand and embody your unique design. By experimenting with what you’re designed for, you can operate and express your highest self.

Human Design is NOT…

A Religion or Belief System

It’s about your personal energy. There is no sin, just bad energy or good energy you want to put out.

What you layer on top of Human Design with religion or your beliefs is up to you. The understanding and embodiment helps (from personal experience) if you have a belief that’s bigger than you, but also works well if you don’t.

A Magic Bullet

There are many personality tests out there. I’ve done a lot of them, like the Kolbe Test, Myers-Briggs, Entrepreneurial Score Card, Brikman, Strengths Finder, and Enneagram. 

They all help give insight, but at the end of the day, energy fuels executing these in how you operate within them and direction of what suits you and what doesn’t. Also doesn’t explain when you have down days.

Although you’ll get results by making small changes with your design, you won’t become a millionaire overnight. 

Experimenting with your design based on your chart and de-conditioning from decades of old habits and beliefs about what you “should” do takes time.

A Personality Test

Human Design doesn't tell you, your personality, like some tests. It's a tool and framework that gives you direction on how you work energetically. Because when you feel good your natural personality comes out and you express it naturally.

A Replacement for Skillsets

Your Human Design chart can only give you direction, not skillsets. 

It guides you toward what you may want to lean into more to continue toward your purpose or grow your business.

For example,

If you have a child who is gifted in physical coordination and picking up physical activities, that is the gift or talent. However, the child could be very interested in applying the gift to golf or swimming instead of soccer.

This means that the child would need to still acquire the skills specific to golf or swimming.

Another example for business,

let’s say you’re a Manifesting-Generator and one of your talents are adapting your message to an audience (gate 26-44) on your chart. But your skillsets come from an Academic background, and you want to attract your ideal client and market your business.

So you go and post about the things lighting you up, but your content is very structured for University and academically written for and with the energy for other academics (professor, university colleagues),  instead of your avatar. (the regular busy person, parent who just wants the problem solved)

Your avatar  isn’t as well trained or went to school as long as you are in the field of study or doesn’t have the time to look up all the terms used, they just want it simplified, fun and know what you can do for them. So you’d need skillsets in messaging (copywriting)
